Home building consents up in FebruaryHome building consents rebounded in February 2017, but were up only slightly from February 2016, Stats NZ said today. A total of 2,418 new homes were consented in February 2017 â€“ up 1.6 percent from February 2016.

New landlord for 1140 Tauranga HNZ tenantsFrom next month, Accessible Properties will take over 1138 social houses and tenancies owned by Housing New Zealand. â€œThis is the first regional, large-scale transfer of Government-owned social houses to a community housing provider. They are a major plank of our plan to improve social housing,â€ says Social Housing Minister Amy Adams.

Refreshing rentalsThe TPIA monthly meeting 13 March 2017 will be hosted by The Flooring Room, corner Cameron Rd and 11th Ave in Tauranga. The theme is "refreshing rentals".
