Official cash rate increased to 2.0 percent

The Monetary Policy Committee today increased the Official Cash Rate (OCR) to 2.0 percent. The Committee agreed it remains appropriate to continue to tighten monetary conditions at pace to maintain price stability and support maximum sustainable employment.

We are delighted to confirm that we are holding a special event, registration only, with our guest speaker, Steve Goodey in the Tauranga Yacht Club. Steve has been a full time property investor since 1999 and has at one time completed a property renovation every 9 days. He invests in large scale multi–income residential properties, small to medium commercial investments, as well as being involved in many residential apartment developments. This event is free to members but a door charge of $40 applies to all guests however this includes a selection of canapes. Commercial property panel

This months meeting will be a commercial property panel format. The speakers will include Matthew Fenton from PRP valuers, Mark Walton from Bayleys Commercial and Gordon Lambeth who is the NZPIF Northern representative. Gordon over the past 10 years has moved his portfolio from residential to commercial so he will talk about his personal experiences during this journey.
