As everyone is aware, all rental properties need to be insulated to the new RTA requirements by 1st July 2019. With only 18 months remaining to get the required work done it is important that you plan to complete this work sooner rather then later as demand for insulation installers will outstrip the supply of labour.
Ensuring that you are meeting your obligations for insulation is a simple 3 step process:
Step 1: Request a free insulation assessment. We will book an assessment time with your tenant and a qualified assessor will visit your property and assess its current insulation levels and determine whether the property is compliant.
Step 2: We send you a completed assessment form along with a quote if the property requires insulation. The assessment form shows the current insulation levels in the property.
Step 3: If you accept the quote we will organise a time with you or the tenant to complete the work. Once the work is complete we will supply a certificate of compliance to you as proof the property is compliant.
